Our Web Design Process In A Nutshell
These days, there are all kinds of web design and development studios out there, and if you're in the market for a new website, the options may seem overwhelming. You might be wondering if that low-cost web development firm that you found online is the way to go. Or perhaps having a custom website built is a smarter approach. Or maybe you're thinking you should try your hand at building a website yourself using a site builder program like Squarespace. There's no one right answer that's going to work well for everyone, so you'll need to carefully consider what the best approach is given your situation.
Since you're here, you're probably wondering what we're all about. In a nutshell, here's your answer:
In our book, the best website projects always involve collaboration. We're not going to ask you a few questions up front and then go off and build your website in a vacuum. From the get-go, we want to know who you are, what makes your business or organization unique in your field and what your goals are. Our aim is to help you accomplish specific goals and our approach is to build a custom website aimed at achieving those goals. Quite honestly, we've seen much better results with this approach when compared with trying to fit what you need into a pre-existing website template that's already been used elsewhere.
We want to make your life (and the lives of your users) easier, not more difficult. To that end, we do most of our work using a custom build of the ExpressionEngine CMS. This allows for a lot of flexibility in both design and usability, while also making content updates extremely simple. Granted, it will always be cheaper in the short term to build something yourself or work with a budget web designer, but in our experience, building a professional website that provides an engaging experience for your users and that produces results is an investment that will serve you well into the future.
