Gilburg Leadership Launches New Website
filed under: News, Website Design
We're very happy to announce the launch of a new website for Gilburg Leadership Incorporated.
Gilburg Leadership (GLI) is a second generation, family-owned leadership consulting firm based in Massachusetts. When we started working with them, their old website wasn't doing a good job of highlighting who they are and the expert consulting services that they offer. The website was running an outdated version of ExpressionEngine, wasn't mobile friendly and the content needed to be reworked.
The new website has an updated content model, a simplified main navigation and clear calls to action that help direct users to the most important pages on the site. To cater to an ever-growing number of mobile users, the new site was built with responsive technology so it will render correctly, regardless of the type of device you're viewing it on.
Website accessibility was also important to the GLI team and the new website meets WCAG AA accessibility guidelines, making it easy for people using assistive technology to access.
During the design phase of the project, we worked together with the GLI team to select compelling imagery for the website. During the development phase, we helped rewrite the site content so that it is user focused and SEO friendly.

An email signup form is prominent in the global footer, making it easy for website users to sign up. Built-in event listings and payment integration means that the GLI team can now easily create custom events and website users can register and pay for events directly on the site.
To empower the client to track results on the website, we conducted a Google Analytics training with them. This allows them to track patterns in website user behavior, conversion trends and other key metrics.
As always, our team loves working with clients who are doing good work in the world and GLI definitely fits the bill. This project was also significant for Tunnel 7 because it represents one of the first website launches since Tunnel 7's leadership transition last year.
