Chamber Board And 10 Years In Business Recognition
January 25, 2013 filed under: News
I have a confession to make. I get nervous about self-promotion and this article feels a bit like self-promotion to me; however it is also something I am rather proud of so I do want to share (at the risk of sounding too self-promotional).
A couple months back I was approached by the president of the Greater Easthampton Chamber of Commerce, Pat Brough, about joining the chamber board. While I was honored that he had even thought of me, I was hesitant.
Most of my days are very busy and I'm trying not to spread myself too thin. However, this would be an opportunity to not only be more involved in the community but to also learn from fellow business owners and make Easthampton, well, even better!
So I did accept. Last night I was formally elected at the annual meeting and I am looking forward to helping local businesses succeed here in our great town!
I'm also very proud to report that Tunnel 7 received a certificate for being in business for 10 years from the chamber. While that does make me feel a bit older, it is a great accomplishment, especially when you consider all the web design firms that have come and gone in that time!
I look forward to seeing what 2013 holds!
